Environments should reflect the warmth and personality of those who reside within; AICO strives to provide luxurious furniture so that individuals may work or live in an atmosphere where they can feel surrounded by style. Always making strides to set trends rather than follow them, AICO has launched AICO Office Systems, an affiliate company. Initial product offerings consist of five distinct groups. AOS products are a blend of style and function, designed to infuse the office environment with a sense of image and functionality. Each group is comprised of desks, credenzas, returns, bridges and hutch units, all with modular storage pedestals and lateral files. Additionally, the groups contain freestanding storage components in three sizes, including cabinets, bookcases and lateral files. To complete each collection, there are round meeting tables and modular conference tables. All pieces are created with the same exceptional craftsmanship, innovation, flexibility and value that AICO is known for. AICO’s products are crafted with a distinctive flair that sets AICO apart from the rest. All casegoods are built in a classical manner using Old World designs in harmony with New Age thinking. Customers have come to expect the blending of media in their furniture pieces: stone, marble, leather, metal, glass, and carvings. Merchants identify these embellished features as an AICO hallmark and refer to it as “AICO-ization”. Multi-step finish execution gives AICO furniture the timeless look of inspired art, not simply furniture. AICO’s many furniture collections are categorized by a particular style segment and given a name based on their underlying elements. All new collections originate here in the U.S.A., then are handcrafted by skilled artisans in the Pacific Rim. Michael Amini, Chairman and CEO, carefully evaluates every aspect of a new collection before it is introduced, and each facet must be brought up to top standards before production can begin. All new collections must have innovative features and benefits in order to brand them under the nameplate “Michael Amini Signature Series.” AICO has also developed a line of related and accent upholstery pieces to complement all of AICO’s wood casegoods. The upholstery debuted in October 2005 and was strongly received by all customers.
